No. 1 Reason Causing Bad Acne Breakout!

Whoever never got it, you’re indeed one of the luckiest people on the earth. You are fortunate enough to be born a good genetic that have clear-looking skin which most people envious of. It is very hard to get rid of the acne and the scar which will be left behind. It is also one hell of an emotional ride for people who have acne. They have been suffering from an inferiority complex in which they have very low self-esteem and everything around them makes them feel small.

1) Using the same pillowcase for weeks

Using the same pillowcase for weeks is a normal thing for some people. When you woke up the next day, there will be new pimples appeared on the surface of your face. Every single day new pimples will pop out, but you never knew the cause of it. From doing a skincare routine to signing up a package at infamous clinics and spa, nothing works. Maybe you should check on your hygiene first. Pillowcase needs to be washed or changed every week as the dirt from the pillowcase can easily be transferred onto your face.

When you are sleeping, you move around a lot and it causes friction which makes the transferring thingy a whole lot easier. The solution would be to change the pillowcase every so often. Another one would be to invest your money a little bit for a pillowcase with the material of silk. It may be a bit pricey, but it could be a good investment for your skin and hair. A silk pillowcase does not only help to improve your skin, but it can simultaneously help your hair moisturize.

2) Sweat

Working out makes us sweat a lot, right? If you aren’t sweating while working out, you should go for a check-up with a doctor. Working out is very good for our health as it can reduce our weight. Other than that, it can boost our happiness level as well as our stress level as it produces endorphin which can help you to sleep better. Work out increases your blood flow which can make your skin better.

Unfortunately, the sweat that comes out when you’re working out can clog your pore especially if you have acne-prone skin.

This does not mean in any way to encourage you to stop work out; you just have to take better care of your skin. Instead of wiping all of your sweat once you finish exercising, you should dab it gently or the wiping will cause irritation or inflammatory to your skin. You should dab the sweat as soon as you finish exercising as leaving the sweat dry on your skin will leave clog your pore. The most active part would be near your hair follicles.

3) Mask Acne

In this pandemic, wearing a mask is very crucial for all single human being. Everyone needs to contribute to curb the pandemic. Whether wearing a mask or leaving the houses with limited individuals, each of us needs to follow the new SOP. SOP is a short form for Standard Operation Procedure.

Unfortunately, our skin will start to break out a lot, especially on both sides of our cheeks, chin, and jawline as they’re covered with the mask. There’s a way to curb the problem.

If you think that the solution is discarding and not wear a mask when you’re going out, then you’re definitely wrong. One of the preventions is you should wear an oil-based moisturizer before wearing the mask, studies say it will help you to curb the pimples problem. The purpose of the moisturizer is to hydrate your skin as well as preventing your skin from directly touch the mask.

4) Choosing the wrong product

Not every product we try is suitable for our skin. Some might get us to break out a lot and some might make our skin flaky. Choosing the right skincare is very hard for some of us, especially for those who have sensitive skin. Some people apply the product directly on their face without doing a test by applying it a little on their skin which irritates the skin.

The right way to do this is by buying a non-comedogenic product. It is a product that specifically does not clog or block the pores. For those who are suffering from acne, you should buy a non-comedogenic product.

Other than that, do some patch test on your skin before buying the whole products. If there’s a small bottle of the product, buy the small one first to see how your skin reacts to the product. If you see a bad change on the skin, immediately stop wearing those products.
